LIMITED WARRANTY

SWISSGEAR and Wenger products are built with quality materials and craftsmanship to get you where you want to go. We proudly back all our products with a limited warranty that protects you from defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty applies to authentic SWISSGEAR and Wenger products purchased directly from SWISSGEAR.com or authorized distributors and retailers. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including third-party marketplaces such as eBay, resellers on Facebook Marketplace, or other non-authorized online or retail sources, are not covered. Coverage is valid for the original purchaser or someone who received the product as a gift. In all cases, a valid proof of purchase is required when submitting a warranty claim. The warranty coverage period, which is effective from the date of purchase, varies by product category.

SWISSGEAR.com Automatic Extended Warranty

All products purchased on SWISSGEAR.com are automatically eligible for an extended warranty, which is double the standard warranty period. All products covered under the standard 5 year limited warranty are automatically covered by a 10 year limited warranty when purchased on SWISSGEAR.com. All products covered under the standard 3 year limited warranty are automatically covered by a 6 year limited warranty when purchased on SWISSGEAR.com. All other warranty terms and conditions apply.

Covered Warranty Items
  • Jammed and/or misaligned zippers, and broken zipper pulls
  • Broken or detached parts, including handles and straps
  • Failing hardware built into the product, including d-rings, karabiner buckles, and integrated locks
  • Failing or unraveling seams, stitching, or fabric
  • Retractable handles that fail to extend, retract, or lock in the closed or fully extended position
  • Wheels that fail or detach under normal use
  • Unprovoked cracks or delamination of hard shell luggage panels
  • Watch movement failures
  • Watch hands that become loose, detach, or stop functioning
  • Watch dial or bracelet defects
Non-Covered Warranty Items
  • Signs of normal wear and tear (scuffs, scratches, fading)
  • Accidental damage caused by improper handling
  • Airline, shipping, or carrier handling damage (report claims directly to the carrier)
  • Misuse, including overstuffing beyond capacity, excessive force, intentional damage, or improper care
  • Exposure to extreme conditions (chemicals, prolonged sun, moisture)
  • Natural marks, grain, and textures found in leather
  • Loss, theft, or damage not related to a manufacturing defect
  • Alterations, repairs, or service by anyone other than SWISSGEAR or an authorized repair center
  • Dead watch batteries
  • Watch damage caused by water exposure

How to File a Claim

  • Visit our Warranty Portal to start your claim.
  • Have your proof of purchase ready — an order confirmation or receipt is required.
  • Upload photos and a brief description of the issue.
  • Our team will review your claim, communicate with you, and provide a resolution within 30 days.

Products purchased through the SWISSGEAR-Onward website are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for up to one year from the purchase date. This SWISSGEAR/Wenger warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state or country. We reserve the right to decline claims that do not meet the warranty conditions.
