Product Information

TSA Combination Lock

Selected luggage comes equipped with combination locks that are Travel Sentry Certified and are both recognized and accepted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This lock allows for a fully customizable combination yet still allows TSA airport security agents to open the lock without destroying it in the event that a baggage search is required.

Setting Your Personal Combination

Your new resettable combination padlock is preset to open at 0-0-0, even though the dials may be positioned at other numbers. To set a new combination, simply refer to the instruction card included in the product. If this card seems to have been misplaced, please click the icon below that most closely resembles your lock to download a User Manual or contact Online Customer Support.

ScanSmart™ Technology

FAST, SIMPLE, SMART

Backpacks equipped with ScanSmart™ technology are designed specifically to help speed through airport security processing with a laptop computer. These backpacks meet all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint guidelines for laptop in-case scanning by allowing the fully protected computer compartment to completely open up and lay flat on TSA X-ray belts.

Note that despite the ScanSmart design, the TSA reserves the right to re-scan or ask anyone to remove a laptop from its case for completely unobstructed scanning. To help prevent these occurrences and allow for an unobstructed view of the laptop, no other objects such as pens, files, keys, earphones, cables or other electronics should be placed around the laptop computer.

Cleaning

LUGGAGE & BACKPACKS

To clean soft side luggage & backpack products, gently brush the soiled area with a cloth or a soft nylon-bristle brush. For more persistent stains, we recommend spot cleaning the soiled area using a mild soap and warm water along with a cloth and/or a soft nylon-bristle brush. Do not completely saturate the fabric and do not get onto the leather trim. Dry by dabbing with a clean, dry cloth then hang or lay flat to air dry. Do not dry with heat. Do not dry clean or clean/dry in an automated washer/dryer. Do not use benzene or alcohol based cleaning products.

To clean hardside luggage, wipe down the entire outside surface using a mild soap and warm water with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. For the best results, clean the entire panel, not just the soiled area. Dry with a clean, non-abrasive cloth. Do not dry with heat. Do not use benzene or alcohol based cleaning products.

SWISSGEAR WATCHES

GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR LEGACY WATCH

For more information on setting the day, time and date of your SWISSGEAR Legacy timepiece, please visit: https://www.swissgear.com/swissgear-watch-instructions

LEGACY WATCH BRACELET ADJUSTMENT
  1. First, use a paper clip to open the clasp of the watch.
  2. Once the clasp is released, move the receiver to the left or right to tighten or loosen the bracelet. When the bracelet adjusted to your desired fit, close the clasp to keep the watch in place on your wrist.
HOW TO USE YOUR WATCH IN WATER

Watches are classified by their degree of water-resistance. All SWISSGEAR watches are rated at 10 ATM and are suitable for showering, swimming and shallow snorkeling. As gaskets may age, crowns may receive knocks and changes in temperature may weaken the water-resistance, the water-resistance of your watch can only be guaranteed 18 months. We recommend a water-resistance test every 18 months by your local watch repair shop or at least every time the case of the watch is opened.

NOTE: Make sure that the crown is not in the setting position and that it is fully pushed back into operating position for full water-resistance. As well, don’t operate the crown while your watch is underwater.
