Great Features, Poor Durabilty/Quality

"I love the packing features and interior size. However, they are not very durable. I bought a set of 3 in December of 2024. As of October 2026 all 3 have had to be replaced by warranty because of seams of raveling. The wheels had began to become stiff and not turn easy as wheel. Had to fight with them to keep them straight going down terminals wants to veer left or right. I will say the warranty replacement process is one of the easiest and best I've experienced."

I have purchased a couple

"I have purchased a couple of these bags in the past and just purchased another. and have used them fairly often for my travels. I prefer soft sided luggage than the hard shell luggage. The bags have held up surprising well for a few years. I am about to use one that I just purchased on my upcoming trip. Great bag for the price. One recent issue: the spinner wheels on one bag has gotten stiff and does not allow the bag to go in all directions. Guess I'll contact customer as the bag has a 10 year warranty."

Very nice bag, well made.

"Very nice bag, well made. SwissGear has a great warranty. I purchased this same bag in 2022. Recently a wheel broken off in airline travel. SwissGear honored the warranty and replaced the bag."

Disappointed

"I ordered this suitcase from another retailer 3 years ago. Handle broke. Submitted warranty claim, which they made good on and was able to get replacement. however, the color was not the same. I had a red one and this is labled as "merlot" in the red category. It's not red at all. More purple. Looks red online though. Not sure If i will keep it or not. checked original retailer and the actual red one is availbe through them, but then I would have to pay full price."

Package arrived severely damaged but

"Package arrived severely damaged but the suitcase set was fine. Customer service to resolve other issues was 5 stars."

Really like this piece of

"Really like this piece of luggage. Dependable SwissGear quality and tough exterior without being overly heavy. Wish front pocket was large enough to hold manilla folder of travel details, but other than that, has all pockets necessary."

— Jean M. (5/5)

This is a replacement for

"This is a replacement for my previous Swissgear luggage (that was 15 years old). Already love the new purchase and color, and got a small weekend tote to go with it. Cant wait to use it on my next European trip next month!"

— Heath W. (5/5)

Bag quality overall is great

"Bag quality overall is great but the telescoping handle was problematic on two of the suitcases. On one, it would extend fine but would not collapse properly. On another, the handle would extend and lower fine but with a high pitched squeal, like metal scraping on metal. Customer service was excellent in both instances, providing a voucher number to purchase and ship a replacement suitcase free of charge."

— Willow B. (3/5)

We have two of these

"We have two of these medium sized Sions. They are terrific. They hold everything and roll very easily. When one of them had a problem Swissgear stood totally behind it and sent us a replacement in time for our next trip. ."

— Robert M. (5/5)

Easy warranty process due to

"Easy warranty process due to a wheel that split after a couple of years of use. Fast delivery of replacement spinner."
