I have purchased a couple

"I have purchased a couple of these bags in the past and just purchased another. and have used them fairly often for my travels. I prefer soft sided luggage than the hard shell luggage. The bags have held up surprising well for a few years. I am about to use one that I just purchased on my upcoming trip. Great bag for the price. One recent issue: the spinner wheels on one bag has gotten stiff and does not allow the bag to go in all directions. Guess I'll contact customer as the bag has a 10 year warranty."

"Really like this piece of luggage. Dependable SwissGear quality and tough exterior without being overly heavy. Wish front pocket was large enough to hold manilla folder of travel details, but other than that, has all pockets necessary."

Bag quality overall is great

"Bag quality overall is great but the telescoping handle was problematic on two of the suitcases. On one, it would extend fine but would not collapse properly. On another, the handle would extend and lower fine but with a high pitched squeal, like metal scraping on metal. Customer service was excellent in both instances, providing a voucher number to purchase and ship a replacement suitcase free of charge."

"We have two of these medium sized Sions. They are terrific. They hold everything and roll very easily. When one of them had a problem Swissgear stood totally behind it and sent us a replacement in time for our next trip. ."

Unfortunately, I did not get

"Unfortunately, I did not get what I thought I had ordered. I thought I was ordering a RED large spinner as is seen in the picture of this review even. It looks this way on the website as well. The name of color attached was Merlot, but again looks red on the site. When it arrived, it was not at all red, but a light purple. I am VERY DISSAPOINTED and I have already sent it back for a refund. I have attached a picture of my medium bag that I was trying to match and another of the one I received. I have learned that the color I have is called burgundy, but I don't see that as a choice any longer."

"It's a fine suitcase. The problem is it's labeled as a 21" carry-on, but that's the inside measurement. It's larger than the standard carry-on allowance of 22 x 14 x 9."
