I chose this backpack as
"I chose this backpack as a replacement after invoking the warranty for a model 1923 strap failure (very simple and quick warranty replacement procedure btw- Thank you!). I really wanted to love this one as I have been using the model 1900/1923 for the last 15 years at least, but was looking for something a little smaller / lighter. Unfortunately, I find this one a little too small. Can’t fit papers/ folders or notebook into the sleeve in the main compartment because of the tapered shape at top and there are really only two smaller zippered compartments aside from the main compartment; meaning the charging brick and other peripherals have to be in the main compartment. (maybe make one of the side mesh water bottle holders a zipped compartment in the future?. ) It also doesn’t stand up when set on the floor, and the shoulder straps are too close together at the top. I guess what I’m saying is that it is somewhat lacking in many of the features that I love about the 1900/1923. The quality and the look are great, just wish it were a tad bigger. I would trade it back in for something else if they let me."
