"This is a replacement for my previous Swissgear luggage (that was 15 years old). Already love the new purchase and color, and got a small weekend tote to go with it. Cant wait to use it on my next European trip next month!"
"Bag quality overall is great but the telescoping handle was problematic on two of the suitcases. On one, it would extend fine but would not collapse properly. On another, the handle would extend and lower fine but with a high pitched squeal, like metal scraping on metal. Customer service was excellent in both instances, providing a voucher number to purchase and ship a replacement suitcase free of charge."
"We have two of these medium sized Sions. They are terrific. They hold everything and roll very easily. When one of them had a problem Swissgear stood totally behind it and sent us a replacement in time for our next trip. ."
"Unfortunately, I did not get what I thought I had ordered. I thought I was ordering a RED large spinner as is seen in the picture of this review even. It looks this way on the website as well. The name of color attached was Merlot, but again looks red on the site. When it arrived, it was not at all red, but a light purple. I am VERY DISSAPOINTED and I have already sent it back for a refund. I have attached a picture of my medium bag that I was trying to match and another of the one I received. I have learned that the color I have is called burgundy, but I don't see that as a choice any longer."
"It's a fine suitcase. The problem is it's labeled as a 21" carry-on, but that's the inside measurement. It's larger than the standard carry-on allowance of 22 x 14 x 9."

"I had Swissgear suitcase for 20 years, nothing ever broke. It was well used, we flew with it many many times around the world. So we ( my wife and I) decided to buy a new one. That one! Big mistake! It seems that they are now using a low quality materials because on our 1st trip the retractable handle got dented and wouldn’t come out. Contacted Swissgear for a promised 10 years warranty and got a response not our fault contact airline! Will NEVER buy another Swissgear product!"

"This suitcase replaced a similar model I owned. Overall it seems sturdy enough. I noticed that it was collecting dirt like my previous model, but it easily brushed off. The wheels operate much smoother so it is a true multidirectional roller case. The bottom handle is further back so it’s harder to use it to lift the suitcase laying flat like onto a luggage stand. It’s also slightly heavier than my previous one but it is one of the lightest around."
