"This is a replacement of my son’s old Swissgear backpack. While it took a little while to receive the approval, the process was straightforward and customer service was exceptional. From now on, we will only buy Swissgear backpacks. Btw, we just purchased a couple more from a warehouse. My son LOVES this backpack, especially he likes the pocket for shoes storage. He uses it for his laptop charging cord and other chargers instead."

"The backpack is great overall. I do wish that the loop at the top was just a bit longer so I could latch it across my suitcase handle. The only other item that I would have like to have was that there were 2 slots on the back to slide down a rollerbag handle to help keep the backpack on the rollerbag when walking. Other than that, well made and lots of pockets."
Quality and Design Issues
"As much as I want to love this backpack, it has a few fatal flaws: 1. The velcro strap that secures the laptop wears out very quickly and becomes non-functional. 2. The side cinch straps don't connect to include the laptop compartment, thus not providing additional security to keep from opening while carrying 3. The mesh water bottle pockets are small without much play, making a standard 32oz tumbler very difficult to fit."

"Overall a great backpack, very sturdy, looks smart, and has great internal and external organisation. Very much like the little pockets on the shoulder straps, perfect for earbuds, especially with the integrated USB socket, and the frontmost pocket which is perfect for my work badge. The "shoe compartment" is not a bad idea for keeping items at the bottom of the backpack which you nevertheless sometimes want to access quickly - in my case, an umbrella. The insulated pocket for drinks is a nice idea, but in practise it's really too small and tbh I never noticed that it actually kept a drink cooler. Downside is it's a bit heavy (1. 8kg empty), lacks shoulder-strap D-rings (which I sometimes use to carry a front pack), and the integrated glasses pocket can't be removed or collapsed, so it always takes up a lot of space."
